Glorious color splashes
downward, sun struck glass
ablaze,
vibrant notes of organ pipe
competing with the light,
filling the nave,
the sweetness of a baby held.
Anthems echo
a resounding, firm foundation,
faith fulfilling.
Light and color,
sound and texture,
a cleansing baptism,
a wish for water.
